Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats & Eats presented by Flagstar Bank is Oakland County’s celebration of art, music, food and community that take place in Downtown Royal Oak on Labor Day Weekend. Scheduled for September 2-5, 2022, the festival attracts hundreds of thousands for an end of summer celebration not to be missed!

ADMISSION:
Admission to the festival is $5 before 3pm and $10 after 3pm. On Friday the festival is free to enter until 5pm, after 5pm the price is $10. On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, admission is $5 before 3pm and $10 after 3pm. This is admission fee supports the festival as well as 14 non-profit partners. Active duty military and veterans are invited to attend Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats & Eats for free. Present your military ID at any festival entrance ticket booth for a free ticket. When you pay to enter, you will receive a wristband with the day of admission on it. You are allowed to re-enter the festival on that same day provided that your wristband is still on and has no signs of tape on it.
TJ Schmidt Carnival will be providing a kiddie carnival, and will have ten rides geared toward families (kids ages 3-13 and adults)located in two sections, one in the Sherman Lot in the north end of the festival, and two, in the Oakland Community College Parking Lot on 7th near Center Street. Carnival tickets will be $1 each and rides will be between 3 and 6 tickets per ride. List of rides available here.
PARKING & SHUTTLES:
Shuttle buses will be running Saturday through Monday (NOT FRIDAY) at 11:00am from Royal Oak High School, and will run until 12:30am on Saturday and Sunday and until 10pm on Monday. Buses will run later if there are lines of people who were in line by those closing hours. Downtown Royal Oak is going to be crowded this Labor Day weekend- to ensure you don’t need to worry about finding a spot, Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats & Eats has worked out an all inclusive parking plan that features real time communication to our festival visitors.
Be sure to park at official Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats, and Eats parking lots. It really matters where you park. Revenue from the official lots pays for police, fire, and other public services at the festival and supports improvements in Royal Oak parks.
